Keeping it local: our directory

One of the most useful parts of the Village News was our directory of local trades and services. But just because we've gone fully digital doesn't mean you can't still discover someone local who can meet your domestic and other service needs. Our Local Services pages list a wide range of local businesses offering services from plumbing, building, handyman, gardening, tree care and electrical to financial advice, picture framing, car maintenance, child and elderly care. Services are divided into categories like Hair and Beauty, Pet Services and Art, Design & Interiors. We also have a community section where you can learn about the ever-expanding list of local groups for parents and children, recycling, our community lunches, sport dance and keep fit.

If you have a local service that you'd like to promote, a listing is from only £30 for the entire year and community groups are free. We can also list your events in our online calendar so let us know if you're planning something special.
