Winchmore Hill is a small Buckinghamshire village nestled in a hidden spot between Amersham and Beaconsfield. The village has around 260 houses, the Memorial Hall, the Methodist Chapel, a beautiful cricket club and two of the best pubs in the area. But, what sets it apart is the community. With excellent local schools, high-speed broadband and fast links to London, the village has attracted numerous young families who have taken their place alongside older residents to make a vibrant and lively community. Winchmore Hill Residents' Association organises a busy programme of events ranging from the annual bonfire, a carol concert and regular litter picks. Coronation Party

The sun shone and pretty much the entire village turn out for a picnic to celebrate the coronation of King Charles.

You can look at some pictures of this super community event opposite but we should thank so many who made it happen. The marquee team, the impromptu grass cutter, the cake bakers, the band, the raffle prize donators and our main sponsors Hertfordshire House. Thanks to everyone and especially to all those who turned up to enjoy the afternoon.
